Faststream is currently partnering with an expanding shipping company based in Hamburg. This is an opportunity to join a company that rarely needs to recruit externally due to its excellent employee retention and work environment.
The role as technical Superintendent will include but not be limited to supporting your assigned vessels in all technical matters. You will ensure the maintenance and dry docks are planned and executed to the company and industry standards. You will work closely with the fleet manager and other superintendents ensuring smooth operations for the fleet and also ensuring vessels meet and maintain all regulatory requirements.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced Technical Superintendent with knowledge of the Tanker industry and ideally exposure to working with this vessel type directly either in a sailing or shorebased capacity. You will have worked as a Technical Superintendent for a minimum of 2 years.
A fluent understanding of the German language is also required to be considered for this role.
Please note applicants will need to have the existing right to live and work in Germany.
