We are delighted to support a growing offshore fleet in Dubai and are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong experience in technical management of workboats, tugs, or offshore support vessels. Candidates who have sailed as Chief Engineer are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily technical operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Conduct inspections and prepare reports on vessel condition and performance.
- Manage dry-dockings, modifications, and compliance with classification and flag requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and procure spares, lubricants, and services; negotiate contracts and manage suppliers.
- Monitor budgets, expenditure, and operational KPIs.
- Ensure adherence to company QHSE policies and promote a strong safety culture.
- 5+ years in vessel technical management.
- Strong knowledge of classification, flag requirements, and procurement.
- Familiarity with maintenance/purchasing systems (MARAD a plus).
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
- UAE or GCC experience preferred.
