Supply Chain Specialist (Procurement) 

Are you an experienced Supply Chain professional with a background in offshore, marine or energy operations? Do you thrive in fast-paced, international environments where precision, collaboration and problem-solving matter?

Our client, a global leader operating an international fleet of vessels, is looking to appoint a Supply Chain Specialist (Procurement) to support vessels operating across Europe and international locations. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to complex logistics, global vendors and critical offshore operations.

You must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder or have the right to work in the US already as sponsorship isn't available for this position. 
 
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Fleet Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of procurement, expediting and logistics activities to ensure goods, services and equipment are delivered safely, compliantly and on time to vessels and project sites.
You'll manage the full purchase order lifecycle, work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors worldwide, and help drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for international fleet of vessels
  • Expedite and track orders to ensure on-time delivery to vessels and terminals
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms with local and international suppliers
  • Collaborate with technical, sourcing and business teams to support RFQs and supplier selection
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal clients and external vendors
  • Monitor and optimise total cost while meeting quality, delivery and compliance requirements
  • Support sourcing strategies and contract / MSA negotiations with key vendors
  • Coordinate logistics, customs clearance and OS&D (overage, shortage, damage) resolution
  • Track purchase orders within ERP systems and ensure accurate close-out
  • Maintain compliance logs, documentation and KPI reporting
  • Liaise with vessel agents and supply boats for local deliveries
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years' experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas or energy supply chain environments
  • Strong procurement and buying experience within complex, operational settings
  • Proven ability to manage international vendors and logistics
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS
  • Confident negotiator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
