The role of Manager, Inland Transportation Procurement operates across EMEA within the Supply Chain Solutions team.

What to expect from the role:
- Play a pivotal role in growing our inland transportation capabilities for breakbulk, project, and heavy-lift cargo across EMEA.
- Take charge of inland transportation suppliers to ensure reliable, cost-effective capacity.
- Develop tailored solutions for spot and project cargo, aligning supplier requirements with our sales pipeline and business needs.
- Support local and regional Customer Growth teams, participate in customer meetings and contribute to RFQ processes.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to deliver inland transportation solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Build and maintain a robust, responsive supplier base and serve as the primary liaison for all sourcing matters.
- Focus on delivering safe, dependable and cost-effective transport solutions that maximise customer satisfaction and create value for our clients and company.
- Travel up to 20% of the time.

- Proven experience, with a strong network of contacts.
- Proven experience in procurement, supplier management or logistics within the transportation sector.
- Strong understanding of different types of heavy lift equipment and trucks and cranes utilise for transporting those inland.
- Meticulous planning, a deep understanding of heavy-lift and project cargo inland operations to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage complex relationships.
- Experience navigating within a global matrix organisation.
- Business-fluent in English.
