Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for managing field service operations across multiple vessels and job sites. Working closely with internal commercial teams and external partners, you will ensure marine service jobs are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and class requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and deploy field service teams across multiple assignments
- Provide technical and operational leadership for servicing of marine safety and related equipment
- Ensure service jobs are completed on time and to required safety and quality standards
- Monitor manpower utilisation, productivity, workflow efficiency, and overtime
- Lead, coach, and develop technicians to drive safety and performance excellence
- Oversee end-to-end service execution and manage customer expectations
- Support internal sales and order teams to ensure smooth job delivery
- Review and approve service reports, documentation, and job closures
- Drive departmental KPIs, budgets, and cost control initiatives
- Improve service processes, SOPs, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, class rules, and statutory requirements
- Oversee tools, equipment readiness, and subcontractor support where required
- Proven experience in marine services, technical service operations, or field service management
- Background in marine safety equipment, LSA, FFE, lifeboats, or similar technical services
- Strong people-management and team leadership skills, decisive and commercially-minded maritime leader
- Solid understanding of class, statutory, and safety requirements
- Commercial awareness with experience managing costs, KPIs, or departmental budgets
- Ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Hands-on, practical mindset with a strong focus on service quality and safety
- Mandarin-speaking candidates is highly preferred to manage mandarin-speaking stakeholders
