Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer (Independent Contractor) in a fast-paced 24/7 environment, to be responsible for managing all sales support and customer service activities for assigned accounts. The position is based in Singapore and plays a key role in ensuring seamless order management and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries on product availability, pricing, delivery charges, and lead times.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to align on pricing, supply terms, and payment arrangements for each account.
  • Manage the full order-to-delivery cycle, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, Sales, global supply teams, and local delivery partners.
  • Oversee order fulfilment, adapt to changes in delivery requirements, and provide professional advice considering local geographical and supply constraints.
  • Conduct post-order follow-ups, including submission of delivery documentation for invoicing and monitoring outstanding payments.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with customers, proactively monitoring account performance and developments.
  • Support and comply with the organisation’s quality, environmental management systems, and regulatory obligations.
  • Understand relevant environmental aspects and impacts associated with daily operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Order Management or full-cycle order fulfilment.
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Sales & Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to take initiative to resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in the logistics/marine industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
