Faststream is partnering with an expanding engineering services provider to appoint a Service Manager to lead day-to-day service operations in Perth. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of service delivery, drive operational improvements, and support a business in growth mode.
Are you someone who can:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a service department, balancing safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Prepare accurate quotations for repair and maintenance work, including labour, parts, and subcontractors
- Drive labour utilisation and planning, improving efficiency and controlling overtime
- Provide technical support to engineers and customers
- Lead daily engineer briefings and ensure teams are clear on job expectations
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across service operations, processes, and systems
- Support training and skills development within the team
- Step in for the Operations Manager when required
- A time-served engineering background with strong technical credibility
- Experience in service management, maintenance management, or workshop leadership
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage margins
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
