Job Description

Join a global leader in undersea communications as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, driving the electrical design of next-generation, high-reliability undersea products. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of long-haul subsea systems—designing fault-tolerant circuits that perform flawlessly in some of the world's most challenging environments.
In this role, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, optical, mechanical, and reliability engineers to develop advanced circuit designs, integrate electro-optic components, and lead verification and qualification activities from concept through production. If you thrive on hands-on innovation and want to see your designs deployed on a global scale, this role is for you.

What You'll Do
  • Design and simulate advanced analog and digital circuits, including microcontroller- and FPGA-based systems.
  • Work with electro-optic components such as photodiodes and lasers.
  • Lead planning and execution of qualification testing for new products.
  • Perform hands-on experimental work with prototypes, assemblies, and test circuits.
  • Develop test plans to support factory testing and seamless transition into manufacturing.
  • Build effective partnerships with internal engineering teams and external suppliers.
  • Uphold company values and ensure all work is performed with the highest integrity.
What You Bring
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, data analysis, and programming.
  • Exceptional experimental and laboratory skills, including soldering and circuit assembly.
  • Experience with single-mode optical fiber, fiber-optic components, and optical measurement techniques.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive solutions independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of precision, follow-through, and high-quality execution.
Why Apply?
You'll be part of a world-class engineering team developing technology that connects continents. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your expertise shapes the future of global communications.
