Job Description

A leading global manufacturer of marine propulsion and engine solutions is seeking a Marine Sales Engineer to support regional distributors and customers across both sales and after-sales activities. This role combines technical coordination, distributor support, and project oversight with a strong customer-facing component.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Distributor Support:
  • Provide high-quality sales and after-sales support to regional distributors and customers
  • Support distributors in developing sales activities and achieving budget targets
  • Track distributor sales performance and provide reporting and updates
  • Assist in planning and executing sales seminars, campaigns, and promotional programs
  • Support preparation of sales presentations and technical reports
Technical & Project Coordination
  • Liaise with factory engineering teams on engine appraisals and performance-related technical matters
  • Provide technical support to distributors on ongoing projects
  • Support project coordination with headquarters and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee shipyard build schedules and participate in technical and commercial customer meetings
  • Advise on commissioning schedules and monitor commissioning progress
General
  • Provide regular updates to management on distributor projects and activities
  • Support marine product–related events and customer initiatives
  • Perform additional duties related to sales and technical support as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
  • Understanding of industrial or technical sales processes
  • Good communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Confident in report writing and delivering technical or commercial presentations
  • High integrity, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to support regional stakeholders)
  • Willing and able to travel overseas as required
  • Candidates who can start on short notice are advantageous
