Key Responsibilities
Regional Distributor & Sales Support
- Coordinate with regional distributors to market and promote marine engines
- Track distributor sales performance to ensure budget and targets are met
- Prepare quotations for distributors and customers
- Support distributors in project execution, including technical and commercial coordination
- Assist in developing distributor sales activities and channel capabilities
- Identify and develop new markets and customer segments
- Meet potential clients and build long-term customer relationships
- Analyze market trends and provide sales forecasts and insights to management
- Assess distributor and dealer capabilities and recommend improvements to their management systems
- Support sales seminars, campaigns, promotions, and after-sales events for distributors and end-users
- Prepare reports and sales presentations
- Support HQ with project coordination and regional initiatives
- Identify knowledge gaps within teams and help develop improvement plans
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or equivalent
- Preferably 5–10 years of experience in marine, shipbuilding, or related industrial sales environments
- Strong understanding of industrial and technical sales processes
- Numerate and IT literate (comfortable with reporting and analysis tools)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and goal-oriented
- High integrity and professional conduct
- Singapore Citizen or PR
