Working closely with top management and cross-functional stakeholders, and is well suited to candidates with a blend of project management rigour and legal / commercial acumen within the maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects end-to-end, from initiation through execution to delivery
- Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation frameworks
- Apply legal and/or M&A knowledge to support projects involving contracts, transactions, and corporate initiatives
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation and contingency strategies
- Act as a central point of coordination between senior management, legal, finance, and operational teams
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial controls, ensuring alignment with approved funding
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and governance standards
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and execution discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Shipping, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in project management or senior management roles, preferably within the shipping or maritime industry
- Strong understanding of legal principles, contract management, and M&A processes
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is advantageous
- Excellent command of English, with strong stakeholder communication skills
- Able to operate confidently in a senior, cross-functional and fast-paced environment
