Are you an experienced Product Manager based in Oslo?

If that sounds like you, this could be your next move!

Faststream have partnered with Ofiniti, a fast-growing SaaS company transforming maritime operations through cutting-edge digital products, including the industry-leading FuelBoss platform.

They’re looking to appoint a hands-on Product Manager in Oslo, someone who can understand customer needs through conversations and collaboration, apply structured product thinking, and execute reliably to help improve Ofiniti’s products in a practical, user-focused way.

The Opportunity
  • Serve as a key connection between customers, Customer Success, design, and engineering
  • Drive execution: turn operational insight into practical, well-built product improvements
  • Engage with customers, unpack workflows, challenge assumptions, and translate insights into developer-ready specifications
  • Collaborate with design and engineering to validate usability and provide fast, structured clarification
  • Thrive in a fast-moving SaaS environment, focusing on practical solutions, learning from customers, and strengthening the platform with each release
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team and join customer meetings to understand needs, pain points, and deeper product opportunities
  • Work directly with the Chief Platform Officer, supporting clear execution and contributing to the overall product direction
  • Translate customer input into structured requirements and identify whether requests are one-off needs or broader patterns
  • Write clear specifications and support the flow through design where refinement is needed
  • Support the product development cycle from early discovery through build and release, ensuring clarity and alignment at every stage
  • Work with internal teams to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and product quality
  • Communicate product decisions clearly and ensure stakeholders understand the reasoning behind them
  • Help refine lightweight product processes as the organization grows
  • Follow up after releases with Customer Success to validate outcomes, confirm expected behavior, and capture learnings for future improvements
  • Perform business-level validation of new features to confirm they solve the right problem, support expected workflows, and align with customer expectations, complementing technical QA
Ideal Background
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product-focused role in SaaS or digital products
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and the ability to distinguish between symptoms and underlying needs
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer-facing discussions
  • Ability to break down complex requirements and translate them into practical, high-quality product solutions
  • Solid understanding of UX flows and an eye for what makes a solution intuitive
  • A practical mindset and a collaborative approach to working across teams
  • Adaptable, curious, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in maritime or shipping is a plus, but digital product experience is the key
  • Fluent in English
Why This Role?
  • Join Ofiniti, a fast-growing SaaS company helping modernise a global industry
  • Work directly with the Chief Platform Officer on meaningful product development
  • Influence products that sit at the heart of maritime digitalisation
  • Be part of an ambitious environment with plenty of room for impact
  • Collaborate with global teams and help refine a platform used across the industry
  • Hybrid flexibility with an office in Oslo
  • Competitive salary and strong career growth potential
