Working in the London office, we are looking for an experienced Chartering Manager to take the lead in the day to day freight contracts across the European region (SPOT, COA, CV & CT).
Key focus:
- Manage the day-to-day scheduling of the European fleet to achieve balanced utilisation and maintain reliable on-time arrival performance.
- Work collaboratively as part of the commercial team to ensure the effective and economical execution of all freight contracts assigned to the European fleet.
- Continue to build and maintain a strong working relationship with all existing and potential clients with the view of maintaining and/or expanding business volume and portfolio with them
- Continue to seek potential opportunities to expand regional activity by capitalising on available spot opportunities, for both out-charter and in-charter tonnages
- Work closely with Operations team to ensure the economical, timely and successful execution of all charter parties to the satisfaction of the respective charterers
