About the Role

Our client, a leading organization in the offshore and marine energy sector, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee all local purchasing, expediting, and logistics activities.

This is a key position responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods, services, and equipment to project and vessel sites, while optimizing costs, maintaining schedules, and upholding stringent compliance standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive supply chain professional to take ownership of end-to-end procurement operations, develop efficient processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

Key Responsibilities Supply Chain & Procurement Operations
  • Manage the full procurement cycle, from reviewing requisitions and issuing purchase orders to ensuring on-time delivery to end users.
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain activities with freight forwarders, logistics partners, international buyers, internal stakeholders, and quality inspection teams.
  • Negotiate with local vendors on pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and performance criteria.
  • Optimize total cost and delivery performance while ensuring goods and services meet required specifications.
Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure all procurement policies, procedures, and processes are followed and contribute to their improvement where necessary.
  • Maintain compliance logs, documentation accuracy, system updates, and KPI reporting.
  • Support customs clearance activities and OS&D (overage, shortage, damage) processes.
Logistics & Scheduling
  • Track all local purchase orders through to final reception and system close-out.
  • Work with 3PL agents to clear and deliver imported goods compliantly.
  • Liaise with vessel agents and supply boats to coordinate delivery to vessels and terminals.
  • Conduct cost analyses across transportation agents to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Build strong day-to-day relationships with internal clients on supply chain matters.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, technical, and business management teams on RFQs and supplier selection.
  • Identify workplace risks and demonstrate understanding of relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain, ideally within Offshore, Oil Services, Marine, or remote operations.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore supply chain processes and INCOTERMS.
  • Previous buying/procurement experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
  • Strong communication, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
