You will be responsible for driving commercial performance through proactive business development, market analysis, and close collaboration with internal operations and voyage management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the parcelling trades across the Atlantic and Med by identifying and securing profitable cargo combinations and contracts.
- Identify and pursue cargo opportunities across spot and COA's.
- Build strong relationships with cargo owners, brokers, and counterparties across key markets.
- Maintain up-to-date market intelligence on freight levels, competitors, and commodity flows to support commercial decisions.
- Support the development of long-term commercial strategies, including COAs and strategic partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or related discipline.
- Circa 5 years + experience, ideally in parcelling, or Chartering of MPP or dry bulk trades.
- Strong understanding of chartering terms
- Excellent financial and analytical skills.
- Strong market awareness with the ability to develop business opportunities and relationships.
