This role will focus on managing and developing the company’s dry bulk chartering activities, building strong relationships with charterers and brokers, and driving profitable fixture opportunities across key trade routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the chartering activities of the company’s dry bulk fleet
- Negotiate voyage and time charter fixtures with charterers and brokers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with market participants
- Monitor freight markets, cargo flows, and commercial opportunities
- Work closely with operations and management to ensure efficient fixture execution
- Contribute to the overall commercial strategy and market positioning
- Experience in dry bulk chartering or commercial shipping
- Strong network with charterers, traders, and shipbrokers
- Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
- Good understanding of freight markets and vessel operations
- Based in Mumbai or open to relocating to Mumbai
