Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a reputable international dry bulk shipping group to appoint a Chartering Manager to join its commercial team in Hong Kong. This role will focus on developing cargo opportunities and managing chartering activities across the dry bulk market.

Key Responsibilities

Source and negotiate cargo and vessel opportunities within the dry bulk market
Manage chartering fixtures from negotiation through to execution
Build and maintain relationships with charterers, shipowners, and brokers
Monitor market trends and identify new commercial opportunities

Requirements

5–10 years’ experience in dry bulk chartering or shipbroking
Strong understanding of the dry bulk freight market
Established network within the chartering and broking community
Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
Based in Hong Kong, or open to relocating to Hong Kong
