Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a growing international dry bulk shipping group to appoint a Chartering Manager to join its commercial team in Singapore. The role will focus on developing cargo and vessel opportunities while managing chartering activities across the dry bulk market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and negotiate cargoes and vessels across the dry bulk market
  • Manage voyage and time charter fixtures from negotiation through execution
  • Build and maintain relationships with charterers, shipowners, and brokers
  • Monitor freight markets and identify commercial opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations and post-fixture teams to ensure smooth execution
Requirements
  • 3–5 years’ experience in dry bulk chartering or shipbroking
  • Strong network within the dry bulk market
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
  • Based in Singapore
