Our prestigious shipping client is actively seeking a skilled Nautical Superintendent to oversee the operational excellence of their fleet. This position will be based in Lae, Papua New Guinea. Rotational work arrangement.
As Nautical Superintendent, you will manage fleet operations to optimize maintenance, repairs, and compliance with international maritime laws and company standards, fostering seamless coordination with onboard crews and partners. Monitor vessel performance, provide expert guidance to crews, compile detailed reports, and ensure readiness for emergency response.
Key Requirements:
- Proven seagoing experience, preferably as an ex-Master or Chief Officer.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Marine/Nautical Superintendent.
- Working experience with MPVs, Landing Crafts, Tugs and Barges.
- Possession of an Internal Auditor ISM/ISPS/MLC certificate.
- Prior working experience in Papua New Guinea, Africa or Nigeria is preferable.
