The successful candidate will be responsible for providing discipline expertise for Class / Flag legislative requirements and approvals, as well as compiling new build documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for Class / Flag approval and compliance matters for multiple projects
- Ensure all projects meet the relevant Classification Society and Flag requirements
- Compile and review all new build documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and calculation packages
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on Classification Society and Flag requirements and best practices
- Liaise with Classification Society surveyors and Flag authorities to ensure efficient and timely approval processes
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance, including HSEQ, quality, and schedule
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maritime industries, with a focus on Classification Society and Flag requirements
- Strong knowledge of classification society rules and international maritime regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
