We are currently seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Manager based in Singapore, with extensive experience in managing health, safety, environmental protection, and quality within the maritime sector, particularly with large dry cargo ships - bulk carriers and/or container ships.
As HSEQ Manager, your role involves ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental Protection, and Quality policies, aligned with Environmental Management Systems (EMS). You'll promptly report environmental noncompliance, interpret regulations for vessel and shore staff compliance, build strategic relationships with regulatory bodies, provide expert guidance and training to departments and sea staff, maintain a legislation register, and oversee compliance systems management.
Key Requirements:
- Ex Master Mariner with at least three years' of relevant experience in similar role and capacity.
- In-depth understanding of Marine and HSEQ management principles and industry regulations.
- Strong technical proficiency, including emergency response procedures, and excellent communication skills, thriving in dynamic environments.
- Presently based in Singapore.
