We are looking for a Regional HR Executive to partner with business leaders and employees across the region – delivering end-to-end HR support, driving talent initiatives, ensuring compliance with maritime and regional labor regulations, and shaping a high-performing workforce that keeps global trade flowing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a HR partner to both corporate and operational teams across the region, supporting full employee lifecycle processes.
  • Manage and coordinate regional payroll processing in partnership with external payroll vendors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Provide HR support to a diverse workforce, including white-collar corporate staff and blue-collar employees.
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation in alignment with local labor laws and global HR standards.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant labor regulations.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational changes, and talent development initiatives in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on benefits administration, HRIS updates, and operational improvements.
  • Contribute to regional HR projects, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with global HR teams.
  
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of HR generalist experience in a regional or multi-country capacity, ideally in shipping, maritime, or industrial sectors.
  • Hands-on experience managing payroll processes and vendor coordination.
  • Comfortable supporting both office-based professionals and frontline/operational staff.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation in the region would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
