Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support business decisions and growth initiatives
- Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage audit, tax, and statutory reporting requirements in Singapore
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and processes to ensure strong governance
- Partner with internal stakeholders across operations and commercial teams to drive performance and cost optimization
- Liaise and report to regional / group stakeholders, including Chinese-speaking counterparts
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a recognized local Singapore university (preferred)
- Chartered Accountant qualification (e.g., CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within marine, engineering, or related industries
- Strong team management experience, with the ability to lead and develop finance professionals
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to effectively liaise with Chinese stakeholders
- Solid understanding of Singapore financial regulations, tax, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in marine, offshore, engineering, or project-based industries
- Exposure to regional reporting structures or multinational environments
- Experience supporting business expansion or transformation initiatives
