We're looking for an experienced Global Tender & Implementation Manager to join our client's Marine Logistics vertical. This role will play a key part in supporting the Global Key Account Management and Commercial teams, driving excellence across tender management, pricing strategy, and business implementation activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airfreight procurement, tender coordination, and commercial support within a medium-sized international 3PL freight forwarding company. Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this global role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end tender lifecycle for key global and regional clients, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Liaise with logistics partners and internal stakeholders to secure competitive pricing, transit times, and service capabilities.
- Prepare, consolidate, and format tender responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
- Maintain a central tender database to track submissions, outcomes, and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Provide commercial and administrative support to the Global Sales and Key Account Management teams.
- Develop client proposals, presentations, and business cases in line with strategic objectives.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to benchmark pricing and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Support contract reviews, SLA preparation, and client onboarding to ensure seamless implementation and delivery.
- Proven experience in tender management, airfreight procurement, or commercial support roles within the logistics/freight forwarding industry.
- Proven background in working with global tenders and cross-regional teams.
- Strong understanding of 3PL and freight forwarding operations, ideally within the marine or project logistics sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and tender management tools.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a global matrix environment.
