This is a senior, hands-on role focused on building committed freight volume and developing sustainable, repeatable cargo flows aligned with operational capacity. The position emphasizes relationship-led commercial execution rather than speculative sales or marketing.
The successful candidate will secure volume commitments and shape sailing windows based on real demand. They will own pricing discipline, balance accompanied and unaccompanied demand, and ensure initial sailings are commercially supported. The role also carries responsibility for credit-approved onboarding, customer communication during operations and refining pricing and volume strategy as required.
Experience & Profile
- Senior commercial experience within RoRo, ferry, or short-sea shipping
- Direct control of freight volume and pricing decisions
- Strong network among hauliers and forwarders
- Mediterranean short-sea experience preferred
- Spanish and English language capability preferred
- Commercially disciplined and relationship-led
- Strong alignment with operations and service reliability
