Role: Fleet Director – Shipping
Location: Dubai
Focus: Technical & Operational Leadership of Tanker Fleet
The Company
A global energy group with a strategic presence in Dubai and operations spanning Mumbai and Paris. They manage a fleet of tankers, including Bitumen, Chemical, LPG, and Product vessels, with ambitions to grow and operate at the highest operational standards.
The Role
This is not a role for someone who waits for instructions. You will lead the technical and operational management of the fleet, ensuring every vessel runs safely, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance.
From CAPEX and OPEX oversight to dry dockings, new builds, and emissions projects, your decisions will directly influence fleet performance and the Group’s long term growth.
You will travel globally, inspect vessels, negotiate insurance, and shape sustainability initiatives. Your voice will guide senior management, and your judgement will be relied on across multiple offices.
About You
You are a tanker expert with seagoing experience as chief Engineer and a proven track record in senior shore based management. You thrive in complex, multicultural environments and make decisions that keep operations moving while mitigating risk.
You understand that top talent, high performance, and operational excellence do not happen by accident, they are the result of clear strategy, decisive action, and relentless follow through.
You combine technical knowledge with financial acumen, project leadership, and the ability to inspire teams across locations. By the time opportunities arise, you are already steps ahead.
