About the Role
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to make a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a hands-on engineer to take ownership of plant electrical systems across their SCS and OTS facilities. You'll oversee everything from power distribution and safety systems to data acquisition, PLCs, and automation — playing a key role in keeping production efficient, safe, and cutting-edge.

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll:
- Program and troubleshoot AC/DC digital and analog drive systems, PLCs, and HMI programs.
- Maintain and update PLC programs across the network for reliable backup and recovery.
- Deliver electrical design, control upgrades, and instrumentation improvements to boost uptime and reliability.
- Manage Arc Flash analysis, labeling, and coordination studies for plant power distribution.
- Set up and maintain Machine Data Acquisition and Logging Systems (Citeck, Wonderware) — including scripting, server data capture, and report generation.
- Administer Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure OSHA compliance across all electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical failures, implementing upgrades to enhance performance and product quality.
- Support and maintain Liburdi WinTube welding systems for production lines.
- Prepare and update AutoCAD electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and UL standards to maintain safety excellence.
- Champion LEAN Manufacturing practices, including 5S+1 and TPM, to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and IT teams to enhance plant performance.
- 1-4 years of plant electrical engineering experience in a factory or industrial setting.
- Proven experience with drive systems, industrial controls, and data acquisition systems.
- Familiarity with NEC and OSHA electrical codes and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Strong technical communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong sense of safety and quality.
