This role sits within the Crewing Department and supports full-cycle crewing operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and smooth crew management across the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and coordinate seafarers through manning agencies
- Arrange interviews for senior officers with relevant department heads
- Verify seafarer certificates and arrange medical check-ups where required
- Handle Flag State licence applications and certificate authenticity checks
- Maintain accurate crew documents in the crewing system
- Ensure all vessels meet minimum safe manning requirements
- Coordinate crew changes (flights, visas, port agents, logistics)
- Update crew planning, rotation lists, and crew lists
- Monitor certificate/document expiry and manage renewals
- Support crew appraisal processes and system uploads
- Update relevant portals for crew movements (where applicable)
- Verify crew-related invoices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Min. 1 year of experience in crewing or manning within the maritime industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to multitask and work independently
