This position is offered on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities Information & Liaison
- Act as the primary point of contact for crewing‑related matters between the organisation and ship management partners.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date crewing databases and routinely review and verify all records.
- Serve as the main support contact for sea staff, responding to queries and providing guidance.
- Carry out vessel visits when required to meet with crew on board and support operational needs.
- Coordinate periodic crew changes, ensuring travel arrangements are timely, cost‑effective, and operationally efficient.
- Arrange full logistics for joining and leaving crew, selecting appropriate and practical transport options.
- Maintain clear, detailed records of all crew travel and associated costs.
- Monitor travel expenditure to ensure it remains within approved budgets.
- Produce a monthly Crew Activity Report summarising crew movements and key updates.
- When required, arrange agency sea staff, maintain accurate records, reconcile invoices, and report any discrepancies.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experienced in maintaining structured records or databases with strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements within an operational or marine environment.
