Our client, a global Geo-data specialist, is looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Manager.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies that align with the company's objectives and support efficient operations. Ensure effective execution of full logistics scope transport planning for on-site/ on-deck deliveries /collections.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, port agencies, and partners to ensure timely, safe, and effective deployment of materials, spare parts, and equipment required for operations.
  • Specializing in import-export operations including controlled equipment, you will be entrusted with overseeing the intricate and regulated movement of Fugro equipment across international borders. Your expertise will ensure compliance with relevant regulations including permits, import/export regulations and tax implication, and the safe transportation of controlled items/ equipment.
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including inventory management, storage optimization, and order fulfillment, to ensure smooth safe, and efficient operations, play a pivotal role in the implementation of the 5S methodology. Your expertise in applying these principles will be critical to maintaining a high standard of excellence within our warehouses located in Asia.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies, manage inventory turnover, and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics and warehouse professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency within the business lines.
  • Work with QHSSE, Project stakeholders to ensure adherence to industry regulations, Fugro safety standards/policies, and quality assurance protocols in all logistics and warehouse activities, contributing to a safe and compliant work environment onshore and offshore, ensuring the safe operation of lifting equipment to prevent accidents, injuries, and fatalities.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), develop strategies & roadmap, evaluate logistics and warehouse performance, and present regular reports to senior management.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with cross-functional teams, Service Lines, Operations, Fleet Services team, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and manage logistics budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 8-10 years in logistics and warehouse management, with a focus on shipping/ project logistics, geotechnical engineering offshore wind or EPCI Offshore logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of marine industry logistics practices, regulations, and challenges.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams, motivating the staff, and driving performance.
  • Possess excellent and impressive communication abilities and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational/supply chain issues.
  • Track record in leading and coaching a team of logistics professionals, including supervisors, coordinators, and logistics/warehouse personnel.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
