Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Owner's Representative in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fleet managed by 3rd party.
- Liaise with captains, crew, and shore-based personnel to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor vessel performance, maintenance, and safety standards, reporting any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and standards.
- Provide assistance during emergency situations or incidents, following established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vessel operations, maintenance, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 24 months of sailing experience as a Master on commercial vessels.
- Fluent in Greek/Cypriot language, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shore-based role within the maritime industry.
- Familiarity with ISM, ISPS, and MLC requirements.
- Additional language skills would be advantageous.
