We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our client's team in Cyprus as an Assistant Owner's Representative for a mixed fleet. As an Assistant Owner's Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of the fleet, supporting the Owner's Representative in various tasks and responsibilities.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Owner's Representative in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fleet managed by 3rd party.
  2. Liaise with captains, crew, and shore-based personnel to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  3. Monitor vessel performance, maintenance, and safety standards, reporting any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  4. Assist in conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and standards.
  5. Provide assistance during emergency situations or incidents, following established protocols and procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vessel operations, maintenance, and regulatory requirements.
  
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 24 months of sailing experience as a Master on commercial vessels.
  2. Fluent in Greek/Cypriot language, both written and verbal.
  3. Strong understanding of maritime regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  7. Flexibility to travel as required.
  
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in a shore-based role within the maritime industry.
  2. Familiarity with ISM, ISPS, and MLC requirements.
  3. Additional language skills would be advantageous.
