Excellent opportunity for Chief Engineers seeking transition to shore.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end technical oversight of assigned tanker vessels, ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and cost control. The role involves close coordination with ship staff, vendors, and internal teams, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Occasional vessel visits are part of the role.
Key Requirements
- Experience with tanker vessels - oil, VLCC, chemical; dual-fuel experience advantageous
- Solid understanding of modern propulsion and fuel systems
- Hands-on drydocking and maintenance planning experience
- Shore-based technical superintendent or senior sailing engineer background
