Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical performance, maintenance, and compliance of assigned tanker vessels
- Monitor vessel budgets, schedules, and planned maintenance systems (PMS)
- Conduct inspections, audits, and surveys to ensure vessels comply with statutory and classification requirements
- Coordinate with vessel crew, ship managers, and vendors to resolve technical issues promptly
- Support dry-docking, repairs, and newbuilding projects as required
- Implement and maintain safety, environmental, and operational standards across the fleet
- Liaise with owners, charterers, and third-party service providers on technical matters
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent, preferably in tanker operations
- Chief Engineer COC 1 mandatory
- Experience with VLCC vessels preferred
- Strong knowledge of tanker vessel operations, maintenance, and maritime regulations
- Experience with budget control, technical reporting, and vessel inspections
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vessels simultaneously
