In this role, you'll be responsible for the full spectrum of technical management of dry cargo ships. You'll monitor performance, plan and oversee maintenance and repairs, manage dry dockings, and ensure vessels remain compliant with international standards. The position will see you working closely with ship crews, service providers, and classification societies, while driving best practices and cost efficiency across the fleet.
Key Requirements:
- Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on dry cargo ships - bulk carriers, multi-purpose, general cargo, container ships, car carriers
- Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, dry-docking, and repair processes.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations and classification requirements.
- Experience with dual-fuel systems would be a strong advantage.
