Technical Manager – 3rd Party Ship Management - New Venture 
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Salary: Up to €120,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience)

Are you ready to spearhead a pioneering ship management venture? We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Superintendent ready to step into a Technical Manager role to lead operations for a new joint venture between a leading offshore vessel operator and an established global ship management company. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing and expanding 3rd-party ship management operations in Cyprus.

About the Role:
Based at Limassol New Port, you will be responsible for overseeing technical management of offshore vessels, ensuring operational excellence, and driving compliance with international standards. As the first hire for this venture, you will take the lead in building the company’s presence and operations, with the support of additional staff as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the technical operations of a broad range of 3rd party vessels
  • Develop and implement maintenance, repair, and dry-docking schedules.
  • Act as a primary liaison with clients, owners, and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee vessel inspections, audits, and certifications, maintaining operational readiness.
  • Build and lead a growing team to meet operational and administrative needs.
  • Be available for short-notice travel worldwide to attend vessels as required.
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Superintendent or Manager, in 3rd party vessel management.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, safety standards, and class requirements.
  • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a startup environment.
  • Proficient in using technical and management software tools.
  • Flexible, proactive, and ready to travel globally at short notice.
