The Company
Witherby Publishing Group is the leading publisher of operational guidance and technical standards for the international shipping industry. Witherbys works with leading industry bodies to provide guidance to ships transiting the most challenging navigational areas worldwide.
The Challenge
The Technical Advisor will form part of the technical team and be responsible for researching, writing and updating the portfolio of Witherby's technical products.
Primarily the role will be office based but offers the opportunity to travel internationally for 2 or 3 months per year to visit industry bodies, ships in transit or onboard Witherby's research vessel.
Key Attributes
The ideal candidate for this role will have current or recent Deepsea experience and possess a keen interest in navigation, passage planning and ECDIS.
