We are currently partnering with an established marine technical engineering company based in Aberdeen to appoint an experienced Marine Technical Advisor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned marine professional to step into a pivotal shoreside position, providing expert guidance across both seafaring crews and technical teams ashore.
Key Requirements:
- Have sailed as Chief Engineer on offshore, construction, or other relevant specialist vessels.
- Hold the legal right to live and work in the UK.
- Bring strong technical knowledge, problem-solving capability, and the ability to communicate confidently with a variety of stakeholders.
- Offer technical support and operational insight to both seafarers and shore-based engineering teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and marine engineering best practice.
- Contribute to the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the company’s vessels and projects.
- Provide guidance on engineering standards, asset performance, and continuous improvement.
