You will be responsible for surveying and verifying electrical systems on naval vessels during construction, ensuring installations meet technical and safety standards. This is a hands-on role on-board ships during newbuild projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading machinery and electrical system surveys on naval newbuilds
- Witnessing installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards
- Acting as a technical interface with shipyard and programme stakeholders
- Producing high-quality technical reports and documentation
- Have experience as a marine engineer with electrical focus or an electrical engineer
- Have exposure to ship new construction projects
- Are practical, confident, and able to operate on-board vessels
- Classification experience is a bonus but not essential
