As a trusted advisor to shipowners, managers, and operators, you will deliver value-based solutions, manage complex sales cycles, and drive regional growth in line with global sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the commercial lead for assigned territories and customers, representing a full portfolio of products, systems, and services.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies and account plans tailored to market dynamics.
- Build and maintain strong customer partnerships through high-level engagement, negotiation, and executive presentations.
- Drive pipeline development, opportunity qualification, and deal progression using structured sales methodologies.
- Prepare and manage commercial proposals, bids, and contractual negotiations.
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate CRM data management and contribute to regular sales reviews and business planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, service, and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer support.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and key account meetings.
- Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required.
- Proven track record in technical B2B sales with regional responsibility, ideally within the marine, chemical, or engineering sectors.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex opportunities using structured sales processes.
- Commercially astute, with strong negotiation and value-based selling expertise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across cultures and geographies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment.
- Proficient in CRM platforms and digital sales tools (HubSpot is a plus).
- Willingness to travel regionally as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marine, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in technical or commercial sales, ideally in a regional or multinational setting.
- Valid driver's license.
