About the Role:
 
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical and operational aspects of the vessels. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining high standards and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vessel Supervision: Support and supervise vessel command in all aspects, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Ensure all statutory and class certificates are up to date and compliant with regulations.
  • Port Coordination: Liaise with terminal operators, service engineers, and shipping agents to ensure smooth operations.
  • System Audits: Conduct audits and evaluations of vessel and in-house systems, ensuring efficient administration.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with expectations.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and coordinate upkeep and maintenance, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Naval Architecture.
  • Certification: Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (Class I - Motor).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as Chief Engineer on relevant vessels and 5 years as a Technical Superintendent in a reputed shipping company.
