Key Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and variance analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with Singapore financial reporting standards and statutory requirements
- Liaise with external parties on audit, tax, and regulatory matters
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and audit schedules
- Support internal stakeholders by providing financial insights and analysis
- Liaise with regional / group stakeholders, including Chinese-speaking counterparts
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a recognized local Singapore university (preferred)
- Chartered Accountant qualification (e.g., CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in marine, engineering, or related industries
- Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards, tax, and compliance
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to liaise with Chinese stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Excel
- Prior exposure to project-based or service-oriented industries (marine/offshore/engineering)
- Experience working in a regional or multinational environment
- Familiarity with costing, project accounting, or contract-based revenue recognition
