About the Role
This role will focus primarily on managing and servicing an existing portfolio of international marine insurance business, with a global placement scope. Over time, there will also be opportunities to contribute to business development and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service an existing portfolio of marine insurance accounts
- Handle global placements across multiple markets, with a strong focus on the London Market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and key stakeholders
- Provide technical advice and tailored insurance solutions to clients
- Ensure smooth execution of renewals, endorsements, and policy placements
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality client service
- Support business development initiatives, with the opportunity to take on client production responsibilities over time
- 5-10 years of experience as a Marine Insurance Broker or in a similar role
- Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with the London Market (essential)
- Proven track record in handling marine insurance placements
- Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage international accounts and complex placements
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore (visa sponsorship supported)
- UK or EU background preferred
