As a frontline ambassador for Lloyd’s Register, Sales Managers are tasked with representing the entire company – the name, brand and technical expertise. Typically with quick thinking, personable and credible personalities, they dig deep into the Marine & Offshore sector in order to identify new markets and customer opportunities and anticipate where in the current market they will arise.

The purpose of the role is to develop and actively do sales with a specific focus on the Material, Equipment & Component segment. You will proactively contribute in developing the sales strategy, make effective sales plans and ensure implementation.

The role will cover the Nordic region, so business travel is to be expected. 

Role purpose:

  • To deliver the assigned sales, revenue & margin targets in the MEC market segment

  • To develop close customer relationships within all hierarchy levels of leading MEC Key Accounts

  • To identify opportunities to grow in the MEC market segment

  • To personally undertake sales activities to grow business in the MEC segment incl. 2nd party business, Type Approval, Approval in Principle etc.

  • To drive a commercial intensity culture within the Service Delivery (Support) team(s)

  • To collaborate closely with the Global MEC Product Management


Requirements: 

  • A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd's Register within the relevant field of engineering.

  • Significant experience in product sales, preferably in Marine & Offshore environment with an in depth understanding of sales and building up relationships within MEC clientele.

  • Strong commercial awareness.
