Job Description:
We are partnering with a regionally renowned marine client who are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to the marine navigation and satellite communications industry, with a strong focus on achieving revenue targets and driving profitability.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on marine navigation and satellite communication systems to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Generate individual and team action plans for identifying and engaging new leads and sales opportunities.
  • Provide timely performance updates and feedback to the Head of Sales.
  • Prepare accurate, competitive, and timely quotations while maintaining optimal profit margins.
  • Proactively engage with vessel owners and the Sales & Remanufacturing Supervisor to canvass new business, prepare quotations, and manage customer purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with Service Managers and Coordinators to facilitate project and service execution, ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal engineering teams.
  • Submit biweekly reports to the Head of Sales detailing sales performance, quotation status, technical challenges, and service activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, while ensuring the team also complies.
  • Contribute to team objectives by performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Utilize the ERP system (Navision) to generate sales quotations and confirm sales orders.
Requirements:
 
  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales
  • Preferred Experience in the marine communications industry, and in Asia markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.
  • Solid understanding of marine bridge systems, including radar, ECDIS, GPS, AIS, VSAT, and other related technologies.
