Faststream are seeking a driven Sales Manager to join a global OEM in Hamburg. You’ll be joining a market-leading organisation with a long-standing reputation for delivering cutting-edge safety solutions worldwide, trusted by some of the biggest names across maritime, defence, energy, and aerospace.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for meeting sales targets, expanding market presence, and strengthening client relationships. Success in this role requires a combination of industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a structured sales plan to meet revenue objectives and secure repeat business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals, adapting messaging to customer needs and feedback.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, gathering insights and enhancing brand visibility.
  • Work closely with internal teams to design solutions that align with customer requirements, negotiating within commercial frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, ensuring visibility of opportunities and performance tracking.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a sales role within the shipping, maritime, oil & gas or energy sectors.
  • Proven track record of building long-term client partnerships and delivering solutions-based sales.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage across diverse groups.
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to develop networks both internally and externally.
  • High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
