Faststream are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Assistant to support our clients commercial team, as they continue to grow in the maritime sector. In this position, you will play a central role in keeping sales activities running smoothly by supporting day-to-day operations, improving internal processes, and ensuring excellent coordination across teams. You will be a key support function within the commercial department, helping to maintain structure, efficiency, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage daily sales operations, including administrative and organisational tasks.
- Act as a coordination point between internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient execution of sales activities.
- Assist with the planning and organisation of marketing initiatives, meetings, customer visits, and events.
- Handle incoming enquiries and act as a first point of contact, providing professional and timely responses.
- Track deadlines and follow up on key actions to ensure sales processes progress as planned.
- Maintain accurate sales records, documentation, and data within internal systems and CRM tools.
- A few years of relevant experience is preferred, though motivated starters are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic, growing organisation.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems is an advantage.
