Faststream is partnering with our client to seek a results-driven and proactive Regional Sales Manager to lead their growth across key maritime markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales within the maritime, shipping, or marine services sectors, and a passion for sustainability and innovation.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth across existing and new markets, with a strong focus on the maritime, shipping, and port services sectors.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities by actively managing a robust sales pipeline, from initial outreach through to contract negotiation and closing.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within shipping companies, vessel operators, and port authorities to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research and stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategy and positioning.
- Solution Selling: Understand clients’ operational and environmental challenges and present their technology as a tailored solution that aligns with their sustainability goals and regulatory compliance needs.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams including technical, operations, and engineering to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment between customer expectations and company capabilities.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback to senior management to support strategic decision-making and resource planning.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences, acting as an ambassador for the brand and communicating our mission and value proposition effectively.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in the maritime or marine services industry
- A strong network within the shipping and maritime sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Passion for sustainability and clean technology is a plus
