Faststream are working with a fast-growing, VC-backed maritime tech company who are genuinely changing the game in navigational safety, situational awareness, and fuel efficiency. Think computer vision, AI, bridge intelligence, and it's already trusted by some of the biggest names in global shipping.

They’re now looking to hire a Regional Sales Director to lead commercial growth in Greece, with a clear focus on penetrating the local shipowner and manager ecosystem. This isn’t a “cruise control” sales role, it’s for someone who knows how to build and close, with a solid track record in the local shipping space.

The Role:

This is a strategic, hands-on regional sales leadership role where you’ll:
  • Own and grow the commercial pipeline across the Greek shipping cluster
  • Target and land major fleet accounts (tankers, LNG, bulk, etc.)
  • Lead high-value, long-cycle deals from first intro to close
  • Engage directly with senior technical and fleet decision-makers
  • Collaborate with global teams (product, CS, marketing) to deliver real value to clients
  • Represent the brand at local industry events, ship visits, and key conferences
The Person

You’ll likely tick most of these boxes:
  • Based in Greece (ideally Athens) and deeply connected to the local shipping community
  • Proven sales leader with 5+ years of B2B/enterprise sales experience, ideally in maritime or marine tech
  • A hunter by nature, you don’t wait for leads; you build them
  • Strong closer, comfortable running high-value deals through complex stakeholder groups
  • Confident navigating both boardrooms and bridge decks
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Comfortable with travel around Greece and occasionally further afield
