Job Description


This is a leadership role and requires strong experience in QHHSE, preferably in the Maritime industry. 

The role is to coordinate all aspects of the company's QHSSE programs to maintain the highest standards of quality, drive continual improvement, empower managers, supervisors, and employees to reduce
occupational health and safety hazards, and reduce the organization’s impact on the environment.

Candidates should have the following as a minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable focus area or combination of 5 years of experience in a quality
or safety-related position AND ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate or Certified Safety Professional
• Smartsheet Administrator Certification
• Extensive knowledge of current company quality policies and procedures.
• Knowledge and understanding of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001
• Extensive knowledge of current company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Minimum Previous Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a quality or safety professional in a marine or manufacture related field with supervisory experience
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Smartsheet administration, including but not limited user management, security and connectivity configuration, application performance monitoring (availability, utilization, throughput, latency), system upgrades, and integration
Hands-on experience with Smartsheet premium applications, including Control Center, Data
Minimum 2 years working in a SaaS-based ecosystem.
