Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a tank rehabilitation project focused on bringing existing older storage tanks back into operational service. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong project leader with experience in mechanical, structural, civil, or tank-related engineering environments.
The role is initially offered as a 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension and potential opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 8–10 multidisciplinary engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of tank rehabilitation works.
- Ensure project timelines, costs, compliance, and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with technical specialists across mechanical, structural, and civil engineering disciplines.
- Drive progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Support the reinstatement and safe return to service of aged tank infrastructure.
- Manage internal and external contractors, project documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with LPG storage tanks, cryogenic storage tanks, or similar pressurised/gas storage assets.
- Hands-on involvement with tank rehabilitation, inspection, maintenance, or upgrade projects.
